How do you describe your own art practice?

The creation of one temporary and performative identity through the simulation of multiple mental spaces.

What was your first experience with art?

Wandering alone through desolate urban neighbourhoods and mentally abstracting the mystical qualities of those sceneries.

What is your greatest source of inspiration?

A lot of first generation conceptual artists (Robert Barry, Ian Wilson, Sol Lewitt, Victor Burgin), Andrej Tarkovsky, George Gurdjieff and my own experiences.

What do you need in order to create your work?

Time to reflect, silence to contemplate.

What are you working on at the moment?

Abstracting previous works.

What work or artist has most recently surprised you?

On Saturday 9 May 2015 ‘Discussion about the Absolute’ by Ian Wilson in Jan Mot Gallery Brussels.
